The Adventure for Good Grant is an initiative created by TapTap Giving Ltd, which trades as givestar.

2. the promotion

In 2026, we have a £250,000 pot available to fund charity challenges. We are accepting applications from individuals for a share of this funding. Funding is paid directly to the individual fundraiser to help cover the costs associated with making the challenge happen - for example, kit, travel, food or logistics.

3. eligibility

To be eligible, participants must:

• Be aged 18 or over (or an adult with parental responsibility applying on a child's behalf)
• Be fundraising for a UK or US registered charity (some Irish, Canadian and Australian charities are also applicable)
• One submission per individual or team applying

4. Application process

Applications are open from 00:00 3 August 2026 - 23:59 31 August 2026.

By applying for the Adventure for Good Grant, you agree to givestar collecting and storing your contact details for the purpose of contacting you regarding your application.

givestar reserves the right to amend the application closing date at any time.

5. selection and notification

Successful applicants will be contacted by email.

givestar will never contact applicants from an alias account or social media account, and will never ask applicants to disclose personal information on social media in order to claim a grant

Successful applicants must claim their grant within 14 days of the date of the acceptance email. If no response is received within 14 days, the grant will be forfeited and an alternative recipient may be selected.

6. grand conditions

The grant is non-transferable and will only be paid into the personal bank account of the individual who submitted the original application.

Grant recipients must sign a partnership agreement with givestar setting out the payment process and any agreed deliverables.

Unless otherwise agreed, the fundraising challenge must be completed by 31st December 2027.

7. recipient obligations

Grant recipients agree to use the givestar platform exclusively for any personal fundraising they undertake until 31st December 2027.

As part of the partnership agreement, some recipients will be required to provide content from their fundraising challenge for use across givestar's social media channels, website, marketing materials, and press activity. Specific deliverables will be agreed upon acceptance of the grant.

8. grant payment

givestar will pay the grant to the agreed bank account within 30 days of approval.

Approval will be granted once the contracted deliverables have been received and accepted by givestar and any minimum fundraising amounts have been achieved.

9. general terms

givestar reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Adventure for Good Grant or these terms at any time without prior notice.
